Drunken Margherita Detroit will be a go to. Not sure who else in the area even does Detroit style. The white was a little bland. The plain was on the salty side but I'll try it again in the future. I'm looking forward to different ones for next time.

This is an update review. Losing a Star. Rumor has it under new ownership. Same menu Detroit style pizza was not a good version of Detroit style at all. Wings have gotten smaller too. Guess it had it's 15 minutes of fame.

Fresh dough is made daily and they are open till everything is sold out! The drunken peps and dirty marg were my perosnal favorites-each unique in their own way. You can customize each pie to either a round or Detroit style pie-you can't go wrong with either! Everything is homemade here which adds a special touch. Be on the look out for their new garlic parm wings for Football season-so crispy and the butter, garlic parm sauce is made to order!

Had heard and read great things about the chicken tenders and pizzas at PIZZA KNIGHT... And it's all true. This tiny place with a super friendly staff is kicking out some outstanding eats. The chicken was crispy, juicy, not at all salty (and lended itself to the accompanying sauce perfectly). The New York Style plain pizza was perfect, and the Drunken Peps Detroit Style was pillowy soft with crispy bottom and crunchy edges. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! (All of it...!)

There are different levels to the pizza game and Pizza Knight is definitely on that NEXT level! On a mission to try every well-received pizza joint in NJ, we hit up Pizza Knight twice in a matter of a week to try their popular Drunken Peps Pizza and Margherita Detroit Style Pizza. First, this spot is as super small tiny hole in the wall as it gets. So small it is that they only have a table that lifts up and down from the cashier's counter. Honestly, I had NEVER seen that before at a restaurant and it caught me by surprise when a customer actually used it! The employees were very friendly both times I came to pick up and they were right on time with my pizza pickup orders. As for taste? Superb. If you love pepperoni, the Drunken Peps Pizza will ABSOLUTELY hit the spot with 2 types of pepperoni - the original sliced, which actually sat under the cheese and the roni cups sitting above the cheese. Can I say GENIUS??? Another first for me. I had never everrrr seen a layer of pepperoni UNDER the cheese! So simple, yet so creative. I was in awe of this otherworldly genius idea. As for the Margherita Detroit Style Pizza ---- mmm, mmmmmm. That homemade marinara sauce was so tangy, yet so delicious. The pizza was so super fresh. The thickness of the pizza did catch me a little by surprise, but it was very crispy and good. Impressive? YES. Such a small pizza joint, but such pizza goodness coming out of their ovens. We might have checked the box on this spot, but there NO DOUBT in this world that this will be one of our go to pizza spots going forward ---- and we'll absolutely be eyeing the Drunken Peps Detroit Style next time!

Dear Detroit Style Pizza Competitors... you've got a new contender! The battle of the Detroit style pizza joints in northern NJ is heating up, but to my tastebuds- this Knight, has entered into the battlefield for a fair fight. This is a newly opened pizza shop where you can order for takeout or deliver... not really a dine in spot. The husband and wife dynamic duo have it down to a science where they are pumping out one of the best Detroit style pizza in northern NJ. That rectangle pie with edge to edge crispy melted cheese is unique to the "grab and fold" style we are used to here in the east coast. The flavors all married together give your tastebuds that new pizza experience you may have been looking for. And, it is all proportioned equally. The sauce, to cheese, to dough ratio is spot on! I got the Detroit margarita with fresh garlic and it was amazingggggg! Last, but DEFINITELY not least... Even though this is a pizzeria, this place pumps out one of the BEST chicken tenders I've ever had in my life!!! Yessss, the chicken tender appetizer just about stole the show here. Super tender, juicy, light battered, tasty, zesty, finger licking... I could NOT get enough! That buttermilk batter too MmmMmmmm! With that said, this is a super solid spot for a Detroit style pie and Chicken meal. So needless to say, their chicken parm sandwich is made with their amazing freshly made to order chicken... just a well balanced meal in my eyes. Keep up the great work Pizza Knight... It's an honor to have you aboard!

The pizza here was a hit!! The pizza slice was thin but not too thin, it was the perfect bread to cheese ratio and the sauce was the best part! We got a 12" pie and it was perfect to share for 2 people. It says a lot when I even finish the pizza crust!!

Called around 8:45pm on a Friday and was able to snag the last two Detroit pizzas for the night so I ordered the pepperoni and a mushroom. Went to go pick up and see that these two Detroit pizzas were literally the last two of anything left! The staff here is welcoming and friendly. The pizzas were really good and very much appreciate a new flavor in town. It's deep like a Sicilian and I enjoyed both. Crispy on the edges and soft pillowy bread beneath the sauce and cheeses. Really well done but will want to try a thin pie next time.
